White Chocolate Dipped Spritz Cookies
Cute heart-shaped spritz cookies dipped in white chocolate and decorated with Valentine's Day sprinkles. Couldn't be any sweeter.
Servings: 6 dozen
- 1 cup Butter, softened
- 1/2 heaping cup Granulated sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp Almond extract
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 2 1/2 cups Flour
- Sprinkles, colored sugar for decorating
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg, vanilla extract, almond extract, and salt, and mix well. Add flour and mix well.
Prepare your cookie press. Fill cookie press with dough, and press cookies onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 minutes.
While cookies are baking, melt chocolate in double-boiler until creamy and solids are completely melted. Reduce heat to low to keep chocolate melted for dipping.
Remove cookies from oven and cool. Dip desired amount of cookie into melted chocolate and place on wax paper. Decorate with sprinkles or colored sugar.
