The Best Turkey Burgers (with Red Curry Aioli)

  • 1/2 Medium Onion
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey
  • 1 TB Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 TB Ketchup
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 TB canola oil or pan spray

Red Curry Aioli

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 TB Red Curry Paste

Optional Toppings

  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 red pepper, sliced into rings
  • 1 handful fresh spinach


  • Grate the onion and discard the onion juice. Add two tablespoons of grated onion to a bowl with ground turkey. Add Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Mix together with hands and form into patties. The mixture will be wet. The patties should be approximately 1/2 inch thick. 
  • Heat the canola oil or spray in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.  When the skillet is hot, add the patties and cook them for five minutes on each side.
  • While your burgers are cooking, prepare the aioli by mixing together the red curry paste and mayonnaise. 
  • Serve your burgers on your choice of bun (or no bun), with aioli, and any additional fresh accompaniments you choose.
